It’s really frustrating to see. I’m sorry to hear that nobody around you is taking it seriously at all. Unfortunately it just seems like “it’ll never happen to me” is the default way of thinking for most people. Hopefully they’re right. My brother has been living in China for the last few years and it seems like staying home and taking all the precautions has worked for him. Chinese media keeps saying that foreigners are responsible for it, so nobody will go near him!

Crazy, right? My friend's mother died a few days ago and now this friend is not at all worried about it. She's stopped wearing a mask and staying inside. I've been dating this guy since before quarantine and we've been dying to meet up, but we've been both respecting everything and everyone, so I'm PISSED at all those people going out all the time and messing everything up. UGH

Yes. Many people are using this "my body my rules" argument against the "political decision" of wearing masks and I see most of the people not wearing it/only wearing it when they have to enter stores because its mandatory. I just don't have the energy to fight anymore. And, yeah, we ended up breaking up, so we're not looking forward to meet anymore. Turns out he didn't like me very much and I was expecting something from him. Oh well. Another one bites the dust.

I shouldn’t be surprised really. This is how the internet has made people. They’re all clustered into little echo chambers where they all get to decide whatever their reality is. That really stinks. If assholes would just be upfront about it and not try to disguise themselves as decent people it would save us all a lot of bother. Sorry to hear it, he’s sucks!

Right?! People have been inventing alternative realities but we all have to live in the same one and it seems that nobody notices that! Thank you, Danny. I'm very upset about it but I guess I'll have to deal with it. But sometimes I really want to just leave to somewhere really, really far from everyone I know.

Exactly! Everybody just lives in their head all the time, they all think they’re the protagonist in their own story. I did that, moved away from everybody twice! It’s lonely sometimes but it might be good to move somewhere else if things get ever back to some kind of normal. Everything is just so relentlessly awful. I want to start pickling, fermenting and cheese-making.

And I don't even want to do anything, lol. I can't seem to focus on the things I love, either. I've started doing therapy but I've been disappointed so far because somehow I'm feeling worse about myself. It's like I'm giving my money to someone's who's not going to help me when I could save it and move.

People are weird. I kinda get it here a bit too. No one moves here, least of all from outside the US. I remember I went to a restaurant and the server wouldn't leave me alone. Kept asking questions. Kept saying stuff like "You sound like Thor from the movies." Was pretty funny. It sounds bad but we ask for him every time we go. I am glad. :)

They're so awesome! And the double sax is really cool. At first I thought by "double sax" they were referring to it being baritone, like a double bass, but I thought "That would be a stupid thing to do," and then I saw it. I wonder what his spine looks like now.

Everyone likes "Buena", it's awesome. "Candy" is great too, I guess it displays his vocal talent a little more - and "The Night", that's a beautiful song. Really melancholy. Bear in mind that Morphine had Mark Sandman on a two-stringed slide bass and on vocals, Dana Colley who played two saxophones at once and in the last year they were together, they had two drummers too.

Are you familiar with the 60s band The United States of America? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAz7v9aoNEc

Jacques Dutronc is very sixties - you may recognize Mini, Mini, Mini. Babes In Toyland are like a Punky Riot Grrrl kind of band. :D

Françoise Hardy - fantastic. Though I think her husband is better. Do you like Jacques Dutronc? Also, have you heard Babes In Toyland? I think you might like them.

Hahaha - she wouldn't be best pleased; she hates metal. The kids call me the cat person because their mother calls me Kitten because she associates me with the :3 face because I used it when we started talking. But now they can't decide whether they want to call me Daniel or the cat person.

Ah, shit. At least I didn't get the boys mixed up. Their names are confusing. My girlfriend is Jenna, her daughter is Jamie and her two boys are Joshua and Jakob. Hahaha. Joshua wants me to teach him guitar, so presents for him would be easy - I could just give him guitar stuff. Jakob, I don't know. He's 6. And a mad bastard. And all he really seems to care about is food.

The youngest, Jakob, was crying when I had to leave. And I was wearing a 1970s suede-leather jacket. Not good. :P

I see you like Gerry & The Pacemakers. Why not try The Swinging Blue Jeans or The Searchers? Both bands are better than the Beatles. :D
