Hey Diana, I hope you are fine, I thought i have to pass and say Hi, hopefully, not empty handed, do you remember a band called "ColdWorld" I assume you know it, they released a new album this year which sounds quite nice, not like their early work but there are really nice moments, Cheers.

I still visit last.fm. I like tagged music. I don't know if anyone actually does this, though.

I'm a big fan of Maria Letterberg's recordings of his complete works. Benjamin Grosvenor does a great job with his waltz no4 op 38. His preludes have some very nice pieces in them. Such as: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhcuJOt9jJE His 3rd piano sonata is quite popular (my favourite is his 5th, but it takes a few listens to warm to. Once it clicks you can't stop listening though). Try all of his first 5 sonatas by Letterberg. His etudes also are quite nice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2aeNSM04Gk Also check out his piano concerto (I listen to Scherbakov's recording) and Ashkenazy's recording of his smyphonies (which are very charming). If you want to branch out try his poeme d'extase (also by Ashkenazy). Basically the later the work is the more his style evolves to a modern tonality system. If you like his very romantic works stick with his early works. The 5th sonata is kind of the transistion to his middle period, so it's a bit different.

Thanks for accepting! If you want recommendations here's a huge list: If you like Rachmaninoff try early works by Scriabin (like his first 5 sonatas), Lyapunov, Sergei Bortkiewicz (all his stuff is nice), Blumenfeld, Rimsky-Korsakov (scherzande, concerto), Lyadov, Myaskovsky (his symphonies and sonatas) and Medtner (some of them take some time to warm up to). Also try Stravinsky's early works like his first sonata. If you like Satie try Debussy (try suite bergamasque, not so much claire de lune but the others, or perhaps his fantasie for piano and orchestra or his prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune). If you like Debussy, try Maurice Ravel (gaspard de la nuit, concerto for left hand, string quartet, miroirs, sonatine) and Guy Ropartz's prelude marine and chanson. There's also Frank Bridge, William Baines, Arnold Bax, Heino Eller, Tailleferre, Charles Villiers Stanford and Jean Sibelius if you feel like branching out to other composers in the romantic vain.

Hello Diana, its good to see you again, I have found many ways to get active again on last fm, but all this absence cost me a lot of great discoveries in the realms of music, so what would you recommend me from your recent nice charts? Doom , Atmospheric music or generally anything!

You did right. I was planning to recommended you Ocean Songs in my forthcoming message (sorry to keep you waiting :/). What else you can steal from me: Rachel's first two albums. It's not exactly post-rock, but I have the feeling you'll like it.

Yup, this is great. French baroque composers are my thing. ;-) Been listening to this recording quite a bit. Jordi Savall is the man.

I'm fine, hmm... what's your name? could you tell me? well, news... I'm still working to release a second single and then the full album, working with a friend of mine and we have now a producer from belgium, but he is living and working now in Bulgaria, Déhà is his name, amazing musician and producer, maybe you know some of his projects... to name a few Aurora Borealis, Imber Luminis, Yhdarl, We All Die (Laughing), Vaer.... Vaer is so amazing! what have you been doing?

He's not one of my favourite composers, but he sure has glorious moments. In his ballets, mostly. Right now I'm listening to Enescu -nice stuff. I'll reply to you later tonight.
