likes Hegel, listens to Frank Zappa and has "Anal" in his nickname – what a fantastic user!

I really like that chart fusion with Zappa/Beefheart and metal music. Love you, brother <3

Fan of Hegel then? I've been meaning to read Phenomenology of Spirit for a few years now.

Oh, I'm not cool enough to be familiar with internet memes. I assumed it was at least a semi-serious thing. What's to meme about with Hegel then?

Kant is quite clear and understandable, people just get bored of reading his works. Heidegger is quite clear and simple, you just need to know what he means by his neologisms. Well, I think so. Hegel, in my opinion, is something in between, because he has not very precise terms, plus his main topics may be rather uninteresting for people. It seems to me because of this it is considered that he is hard to understand (in my opinion, he is not hard to understand, but a little difficult to read).

"Kant is quite clear and understandable". Have you read Critique of Pure Reason?

I think Wild Planet is better than the first album but perhaps you disagree and want to smash my face in with a brick. Eh.

Too lazy to update it, especially since I've mostly just been rewatching stuff. I'll get around to logging in one of these days

I mean, I still hate the site's administration, but there just aren't any viable alternatives and I like being able to keep track of my listening habits for some reason. Still wish the Pungent Stench page wasn't gone, I hate seeing that blank image in my library

I'm going to read Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit thanks to your avatar. Have you read it all? Would I like it? I have read philosophy and I do enjoy reading some philosophical works by philosophers.

Quick tip: don't read Hegel, seriously. Even Hegel scholars recommend not actually reading him. What have you read?

Max Stirner's The Ego and His Own, Karl Marx's Capital, Volume I, Communist Manifesto, Tom Woods' Sane Space and David D. Friedman's The Machinery of Freedom. I guess Friedman and Marx would count as philosophers? Even Tom Woods? I have read a few things from Nietzsche here and there as well. Not so much. You may recommend me some good philosophy books and I'll read them. These are all PDF's I've read, BTW.
