I have been added to this club via random act of tagging. Should I be flattered?

What does it mean? Well, it is simply stating a matter of fact. The reasons are many, & I'll describe a few: Long before you arrived at Last.fm, we used to be able to reco tracks/artists/albums to our groups, other users & ourselves -- these recos could then form the content of a radio stream -- a wonderful discovery tool -- a drawback of which was the way it handled recos of a VA album -- instead of actually including the tracks from that album, it would randomly select from the vast pool of tracks from ALL VA albums -- you never knew what kind of BS was going to play as a result! The 2nd has to do with errors -- there are plenty of them in the last.fm db, but nowhere more so than VA albums -- most have been set up by folks who obviously did not have a clue what they were doing, & very few have been since corrected. Another is that album vers often are replaced by compilation vers named the same when a VA album is added... finally it is a somewhat useful tag for discovery listening
