Originally released July 16, 2002

Say It Like You Mean It is the first full-length album from pop punk band The Starting Line, following their debut EP With Hopes of Starting Over. It was released on July 16, 2002 on Drive-Thru Records.

An alternate pressing of the album was issued simultaneously and available only from Drive-Thru's online store, with the cover picturing Jamison Covington of JamisonParker, instead of the girl on the cover of the conventional release. This limited edition is now out-of-print and rather hard to come by.

There was also a Tri-Fold, Limited Edition, Colored Vinyl release (DTR#32V). This is extremely rare and hard to find. Only 1000 copies were pressed.

The Best of Me was also released on vinyl as a 45RPM single, also extremely rare. The amount of copies pressed are unknown.

The name of the album comes from a line in the song "Almost There, Going Nowhere."
