I was fortunate enough to hear this played by the J.H. Experience back in Chicago. It is a rather poignant song considering all three of them are now deceased. They Do Not Live Today. But when they did, it was fast and furious. To bad they were ripped off by a Con Artist Manager who left them broke.

did you know that in their time the smothers bros and more importantly the smothers bros show, was very anti establishment, anti war.they were threatened by cbs i think it was to mellow out . ,or be shut down. tommy smothers seemed to be such a goofball.very cool to know that it was not really the case.

We have no hope of being able to say in 30 years that the music now is classics. Lady Gaga, akon, 50 cent, eminem, ICP, Green day, MCR, Slipkont, korn, nickleback, and many others. I will call this "music" dirt music. We dont have people who change lives like The Doors, Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Beatles, And many more GREAT bands. MUSIC CAN SAVE OUR SOUL IT JUST DEPENDS ON WHAT TIME YOU PICK
