still having a hard time with this one, her vocals lacks so much of the emotion of the stolen one

The mixing and Taylor's voice are leaving me haunted. The mixing is not very good, but the production is.

They have amped the bass and drums, which is great, but toned down the strings and guitar. The more subtle strings I'm ok with. I can also live with the echoes. But why the toned down guitar? The solo and break down both sound so weak compared to the original. I'm so annoyed.

He will try to take away my pain, and he just might make me smile, but the whole time I'm wishing he was you instead

i might be the only one who prefers the original, the strings are so low in this mixing and the original just idk.. it goes harder for me

the productions are more alive (in comparison to most of red tv) but idk why the strings are always so low. anyway this is still brilliant she killed with the vocals and the intro is... in fact... haunting. EPIC

I will eventually get used to the echoes but the "oooooh" in the pre-chorus sounds like "wooooaaahhh" and it's annoying. Her vocals aren't as intense, but the production is, so it reaches almost the same level of dramatism as in the OG

Haunted remains that mall goth-lite bop. The new vocal really knocks it out of the park for me.
