This is a cover of a song by an Austin band called the Sidehackers (who's John Clayton has filled in for Spoon on bass occasionally). I'd like to hear the original, as it's always been one of my favorites on the album.

This song is awesome. What I've heard is that this song is actually about Kurt Cobain and his daughter, Francis Bean Cobain, hence the name and the reason why it sounds Nirvana-ish. "I have her blood inside my heart" reveals this relationship he has with his daughter. Makes the lyrics even more meaningful, personally.

Haha, Wilco sounds nothing like Spoon. But shit, this is a hell of a good song. When I saw them last night, it was just Britt on stage with an acoustic guitar playing this. Surreal.

I don't know how to describe it, but I love the way the piano sounds in this one. Also, the Nirvana thing probably's due to the slightly hoarse singing - something Cobain excelled at - and it's got the same forward momentum as The National's best songs, but apart from that, yeah well, it's a Spoon song y'all. And Wilco? Wilcon't.

I'm a recent Spoon convert. But I have become a dedicated fan in a short time. These guys are brilliant.

Maybe the opening chords sound like "Come As You Are"? Anyway, Spoon at its intense best. Stark, direct lyrics, and perfect arrangement, as usual. <3
