also all internet users are mindful enough to speak english but latinos are just there with broken youtube comments asking Taylor Swift to visit their cartel-controlled favela in Bolivia. Get a grip, Juan.

Last night I swung on a children's swing in a dark, deserted park while playing John Frusciante. I am aware of how depressing that sounds

Honestly I have not listened to anything by him since he re-joined the peppers, and I think it's fine. He played his part well, and now it is time to let go and move on.

man, i love this dude and i really like quite a lot of drone and noise music, but this most recent release sounds more like a compilation of kazaa download errors from back in the day rather than an actual record. idk, next time my speakers act up cause my phone is interfering with the frequencies i'm gonna hit the record button, loop the file and call myself a noise music artist.

Sooo. I finally finally finished the album. I'm not the biggest fan of really dark and abrasive music, so I had to take a few breaks while listening to it. I knew going in that NIN is a very unique band, and I did vibe with some of the songs straight out the gate, like Just Like You Imagined and Even Deeper, but I believe it's one of those albums I'd have to come back to when I'm in that sort of headspace if I'm making sense. It's not music I would play on the regular. Unlike bands like Nirvana or even Alice In Chains, there was always that pop sensibility underneath the darkness, which is kind of my sweet spot. I love harmonies and sweet guitar solos. So I thank you for recommending it, because it was DEFINITELY an experience. Lol

I mean they both serve a different purpose. RHCP catalogue is more radio-friendly and suits various social occasions, while JF work is more artsy and personal. I do feel like both Flea and John have this artsy side to them, it was also visible on Flea's solo album, so I am a bit sad that they didn't explore this more with RHCP.

The moment I discovered John's music was certainly one of the greatest highlights in my life
