Generator, Aurora & Headwires are my faves off this album. I often skip the rest.

Great album. Often gets lost in the shuffle, but when I give it a listen from time to time, it really blows me away how great it is, though it does lose some steam toward the end, and the filler tracks aren't as good as on other Foos albums. I love the organic, homemade sound that this album has, and it was recorded in Dave's basement, so yeah, great sound, reminds me of my favorite 60s records in terms of production quality, not overly glossy like most post-grunge records.

Hmmm, Headwires and Ain't It The Life are awesome plus it as prob one of the best closing songs next to New Way Home and Come Back!

Seems like Grohl decided to play it safe. As a result, this is a pretty average album

One of my favorite albums of all time. The Foos were really inspired then. Just as always.

I really like the album. The only thing that bothers me is that from Aurora on he album gets really soft. Even Headwires doesn't bring the starting feeling back. That's a pity. It's only lucky to be still miles away from In Your Honor which is much worse on that account.

Yeah, last good Foo album, I reckon, and in a way, their best. Not that they haven't had some good individual songs since then, just not albums.

The only two Foo Fighters songs I can bother my arse with are on this album. I did quite like them back when they were less angry and a bit more melodic.

First half energetic and second very melodic, Great songs.... One of their best, just behind The Colour and The Shape and Wasting Light maybe...

This or Wasting Light for best FF album. I think Generator is their most underrated song.

There are times in which I forget how fucking amazing this album is. On one of the singles (Generator was it ? or Learn to Fly) there is a short documentary in which Grohl says that on this album they tried to do things in more analogish way. No fuckin' pro tools and shit. And they did. Together with one of the best tunes that Grohl have ever written this album has TERRIFIC sound. Sound that they totally fucked up on One by One. I hope that on the next one they'll give that sound another try.
