Nah love Bloodsimple (significantly heavier, more eclectic with better vocal performances) V.O.D. has a rawness & I like them... but more Bloodsimple music would be better.

Bassist Kyle Sanders, the younger brother of Mastodon's Troy Sanders, has now joined Hellyeah. For a while, Bloodsimple and Mastodon were both signed to Reprise Records.

Bloodsimple were just a super good band. Guess it's cool Tim & Mike are back with Vision of Disorder but I'll always lean slightly more towards Bloodsimple... liked the diverse songwriting & fact they could write mellow tunes

What changed in that time? The band didn't release new music... your ratings seem random as hell imo

Tremendous band... Tim Williams (vocalist) and Mike Kennedy (guitarist) reformed Vision of Disorder and they released "The Cursed Remain Cursed" in the fall of 2012... it's pretty good but Bloodsimple was definitely more my style! As more time goes by... so has my appreciation for the Bloodsimple records. I think they're both fantastic and I really miss this band! It was awesome how Chad Gray (Mudvayne) got them a deal and everything. Kyle Sanders (bassist) is now in Hellyeah

When someone just starts throwing out genre tags to pretend they know anything about music in a discussion I must assume they're musically illiterate (your charts prove this as well). Just a rule I have, it's a waste of time so there is no need to continue further. You seem to love responding to my comments though, thanks.

No, you're still wrong. I'm actually listening to From Bliss to Devastation right now... it's awesome but if this is "soft" c'mon... not a single song with acoustic instruments on the entire record (and none where Tim just straight up sings). A Cruel World had FOUR acoustic "ballad"-type of songs... The Leaving Song, Sell Me Out, Flatlined, and Plunder, they also did Truth (Thicker Than Water) on Red Harvest... September and Overload aren't even that aggressive either. They formed this band to expand

Bloodsimple's a lot more diverse than Vision of Disorder, take songs like Sell Me Out, The Leaving Song, FLATLINED, PLUNDER or Truth (Thicker than Water)... V.O.D. could never do songs like that, so this band was just plain better. Kyle Sanders is a monster, this music is just more tasteful and well-crafted than V.O.D. not a popular opinion but one that certainly carries a lot of weight. Songs where Tim just SINGS, I find this band far more interesting and appealing than VOD. Ill miss them a lot

They were right, they were more talented than most all other bands. Never say never, I'll always hope they reunite.
