Bernadete Dinorah de Carvalho Cidade (born July 18, 1952 in Niterói, Brazil), better known as Baby do Brasil and formerly known as Baby Consuelo, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter and musician.
Known for her agile and fast vocals, energetic performances in pop, samba, baião and chorinho and hit songs such as "Menino do Rio" and "Brasileirinho", she was a fundamental member of artist]Novos Baianos, one of the most important MPB groups, and was once married to Brazilian guitarrist and bandmate Pepeu Gomes, in which they had three daughters (who also made up the Brazilian pop group, SNZ) and three sons, Pedro Baby, Krishna and Kriptus.
