Alex says this song is about the lead singer of a favourite band of his “The Little Flames” who he took a liking to. In the crowd he had the feeling that she was staring straight at him and that he had a chance with her, but in reality she was just staring into the crowd and couldn’t make out anyone because of the blinding stage lights.
