Released in 2001, eight years after 1993's Republic, Get Ready is New Order's seventh studio album, and the last to feature Gillian Gilbert and Peter Hook together. The closing track, "Run Wild", along with the album as a whole is dedicated to New Order's manager, Rob Gretton, who died in 1999. Get Ready spawned three singles, "Crystal", "60 Miles an Hour" and "Someone Like You".

New Order is a new wave/synthpop band which formed in 1980 in Salford, England, United Kingdom by the three remaining members of Joy Division. The band's classic lineup consists of Bernard Sumner (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Peter Hook (bass, electronic percussion), Gillian Gilbert (keyboards, guitar) and Stephen Morris (drums, keyboards).
