"The Mighty Fall" is the sixth track on Fall Out Boy's 2013 comeback album Save Rock and Roll. “How the mighty have fallen” is an old saying talking about people who were thought highly of (leaders, celebs, heroes, etc…) being brought low. They’ve lost their powers, their standing in public opinion, and came crashing off their pedestal. Not long after the release of Save Rock and Roll, “The Mighty Fall” was used as the official theme song of the first annual WWE Battleground pay-per-view.
